For those of you who know who Greg Gutfeld is, may also know that he has been married to his wife for twenty years, but they have no children.

That changed this week. They now have a new baby girl, Mira.

Dad is 60 years old. Mom is 42.

There is no way I could care for a baby and raise a child at 60 years-old.

Agreed. I was 38 when D4 was born. I was 50 when she became an adolescent.

      Shudder....

And, I NEVER did infants well. I just don't have the skills for that. I can't imagine doing it at 60.

That's why there's moms. Nature is not stupid.

Mom ain't no spring chicken. Can you imagine raising your first child at 42?

At 42, my wife had one child going off to college...

One of the ortho guys I worked with got married at age 45. Three years later child #1 of three was born.

We all thought he was nuts.

My brother is 58 and has an 11 year old. It actually seems to be keeping him and his wife young.

              I was only joking

Rachel was 42 years 7 months when the boy was born. I was a couple months from turning 41.

My sister’s experience was more like your wife’s.

There are pros and cons to early and late. My sister got a masters degree and changed careers after becoming an empty nester at 38. She had more energy for a toddler than I did.

But I never worried about the price of diapers or college and I could (and did) show my kid the world.

But 60? No way. And then there’s DeNiro at 79….

                  Only non-witches get due process.
