One year I was in charge of my kids school's Halloween haunted house. I did it up as a haunted carnival/circus. Those valances and streamers/curtain things in pictures 1 and 2 remind me of how I did the entrances to my haunted carnival.
The Biden's, of course, are a lot prettier.

IMO, the Xmas decor doesn’t look at all tacky. Actually quite tasteful; reminds me of Italian Renaissance festive decor. I like it.
What I think is tacky is how the White House is decorated this year.

The tree (fuzzy as it is) looks fabulous. The decorations look a bit Papal Guard. The outfits were designed by Michelangelo so, there you go.

Wait, are those leaping German Shepherds around the tree? Maybe not the best decoration for this particular administration…
