    I was trained by a guy, and later became a colleague of his, who did a fellowship in Beirut. This must have been in the early 1970s, because I met him in 1974. He did his post-grad training at the American University of Beirut.

    He told me how much he loved Beirut.

    I can see why,

    ETA: I've seen similar videos of Iran, pre-1979. This is the first I've seen of another country.
