My nephew's FIL is sooo coonass, he's got papers. Right now, he's also got a heckuva black eye. Not surprising, God Bless him. He's got little coonass syndrome. A banty rooster that would fight a fence post.
This time, though, nobody hit him. A horse kicked him. In the face. Lucky he's still got good reflexes or it could have been bad.

He's really lucky. I remember turning Simon out into a pasture, and, like an idiot, I just opened the gate walked in with him and unhooked the lead line. He took off, happy AF and kicking. Came this close to hitting me in the face.
Mrs. George got kicked about 12 years ago - broke some ribs.
