I see three open CA races at 85%, 88%, and 93%.

Alaska at large seat is at 87%. ME 2 is at 90.

Why single out CA?

Why only look at open races? There are 12 Districts in CA that are still under 80% counted.

Mail in ballots are huge there, and those ballots have to be hand-processed, with the signatures compared, apparently by a human, for authenticity. That is what I've read.
