Seen on X:
Major Nielsen ratings plunge at MSNBC since Trump won, practically every day since.
Just one example - 10/30 Wednesday vs Fri 11/8 -
Morning Joe 1st hour - down 39.6%
Morning Joe 2d hour - down 36.9%
Andrea Mitchell - down 39.7%
Ari Melber - down 49.6%
Joy Reid’s Reidout - down 54.6%
All-in w Chris Hayes - down 47.2%
Alex Wagner Tonight- down 53.6%
Lawrence O’Donnell - down 60.6%
Stephanie Ruhle - down 67%
No idea if this is just a blip.
That’s not a fair comparison. Fridays are generally lower ratings, especially on a holiday weekend.

MSNBC staffers ‘in a panic’ as NBC parent Comcast plans to spin off channel — and possibly change its name
Panic engulfed MSNBC headquarters Wednesday after parent company Comcast confirmed a massive spinoff of its cable properties — with a top executive even suggesting the left-leaning network may be forced to change its name.
MSNBC stars Rachel Maddow, Chris Jansing and Katy Tur joined a tense 10 a.m. meeting at 30 Rock in Midtown led by NBCUniversal chairman Mark Lazarus, who will lead the new company, sources told The Post.
Staffers fearing looming layoffs peppered him with questions about whether the network will need to change its name, logos and headquarters after reports surfaced that the new entity could be cut off from the reporting muscle of NBC News, sources said.

Lazarus told MSNBC staffers he wasn’t sure whether the network would have to change its identity or its home, according to insiders.
“Everyone is in a panic because everything is up in the air,” one MSNBC source told The Post.
Another insider close to the network added: “People don’t really know what’s going on. They had the election, holidays are coming up. People are tired and just trying to get through.”
MSNBC declined to comment.
Comcast announced Wednesday that MSNBC — home to anchors including Joy Reid and Lawrence O’Donnell — will join CNBC, Oxygen, E!, Syfy and the Golf Channel as part of a new company called SpinCo.

MSNBC would cost a lot less than Twitter..
It would be much funnier if Babylon Bee bought it.

It's in the bundle, but maybe they would sell it separate.
Problem is, you don't get the NBC News gathering apparatus.
Wonder if there's any way it could break even?
Babylon Bee has their own news gathering apparatus…
