Trump doesn't play defense. He's just attacking in a different direction.

He’s ‘attacking’ on home turf then.

Maybe for the next 90 days.
It can get pretty far in the weeds but I kind of like that.

There is one ad he is running that I detest - it implies that no one will answer the 911 line when you call, which is just flat untrue. It is the worst of scare tactics for the elderly and uninformed. He needs some new advice. Badly.

Willie Horton had something behind it.

My favorite are the ones where he warns about ‘Joe Biden’s America’ while showing actual footage of Donald Trump’s America.

In Trump's American the police come round to your house before you even phone them.
(Calm down, it's a joke)

That's not the point and you know it. It's an utter fabrication of something that will never happen meant to scare people.

Not to mention that there's little Trump or Biden can do about communities that want to alter their policing budgets.
There are some federal dollars for cops but they don't seem to be in play.
(by the way, remember Clinton's 50k more cops on the street? Congressional Black Caucus supported it, too).

Not only can't kids play cowboys and indians (apologies to Larry), now they can't play cops and robbers.
Now's when I should go full sarcastic. . . -

Which major metropolitan area recently discussed disbanding their police department? Minneapolis?
There's enough truth in the ad to make people think, since the issue is already being talked about at dinner tables. The average person does not care at all for the current protest/riot culture.
