NOLA review

It has been a spectacular week. I will only review dinner tonight as I am a bit in my cups. DoorDash delivered me a case of expensive red wine rather than the less expensive juice I ordered, then told me to keep it and refunded my purchase. God provides, and I’m doing my best to consume a reasonable amount before we leave. I’ll still be leaving 7 or 8 bottles for our host.
I haven’t been here since 1975. It’s a lot better when you have money, and the cuisine likely rivals or bests New York and Paris.
Tonight was Margot’s pizza in Marigny, delivering while we watch football. Perfect Neapolitan pizza, in the world according to me. Had a Margherita with extra basil. The crust makes the pizza - it was tense and perfectly chewy and tasty. Heavenly.
More later. I could easily live here.

One of the founding board members who donated his collection to help get it going.
They’re in real estate. I’ve wondered if they’re any relation.

Been to the museum twice. First time I was under a time constraint and I wasted way too much time on the movie narrated by Tom Hanks. It was well done, but totally not informative for someone who knew the story. Because of that, I didn't spend the time on the exhibits I wanted to.
Second time was amazing. So much stuff, and so many curiosities that I was vaguely aware of, like Rupert.
