But he's got a point. Google is starting to make YouTube unwatchable. Multiple ads, even in short videos. Monetary strikes for including words like sex or ass, while getting NSFW ads on videos. Paying content creators less and driving many to abandon their channels.

Greed can kill a profitable company. Google has a lot of greed.

I love YouTube, but over the last year or so the increasingly intrusive adverts have really become a PITA. I use it less than I used to as a result.

YouTube is a very profitable company. It generated $31.5B revenue in 2023.

How does that compare to X and Redditt?
