You should listen to Fetterman's Rogan interview. He would be incapable of doing a debate. I guess he could run as Not-Maga and still get that vote though.

Shapiro would be my guess. But the old guard has had its last hurrah. They overstayed their effectiveness.

So you think the Democrats suddenly get over their antisemitism?

If he can be articulate enough.

But someone like him is going to surge. Shapiro, maybe?

Word is that Shapiro was approached by Harris. He declined.

Wouldn’t you? WHO with any sense would want to hitch their star to Harris? By next year no one outside Minnesota will remember Walz. He went out and made a fool of himself for nothing.

There's a lot of different speculation about that, and I'm not sure if any of it is more credible than any other. I've heard the following theories from bi-partisan sources:

              1. Harris didn't want to be shown up by a more compelling politician under her on the ticket (this is my guess)
              2. Obama doesn't like Shapiro's appropriation of the Obama speaking cadence, and so Obama pulled some strings to sabotage the pick
              3. Anti-semitism
              4. Shapiro refused, because he didn't want to be second-fiddle. (I think Shapiro himself says this.)

So much is riding on the success of this Trump administration. If it is successful by the numbers, and in foreign policy, the currently cultural conservatism of center-left identity politics is absolutely dead. And that's why they are so terrified of a successful Trump presidency. Deep down, they're way more scared of success in the next four years than any fanciful fascistic scenario. The useful idiot masses are afraid of fascism, but the swamp is terrified of success.

                          Twat.

With due over-emphasis on both of the 't''s in 'twat' , and a small almost un-noticeable space between the first t and the w, as is common for Lancashire dialect.

A sometimes interesting interview with Rod Blagojevich - the recently released from prison former governor of Illinois. If you recall, he was locked up for trying to "sell" Obama's senate seat when Obama won in 2008 - "It's fucking gold, man." To this day he claims that he was set up, and his conviction was unjust and motivated by the powers that be. This was taped before the last election.

It's VERY self serving and he claims to have found religion in prison. One of the nurses with whom I worked went to high school with him. She said, "He was a punk then, and he's a punk now."

However, he talks a lot about today's Democrats. He says they are not at all the Dems of Richard J and Richard M Daley. He talks about immigrants, the working-class, etc. He also talks about the Clintons - Bill is a genuinely nice guy and Hillary is...not nice.

In his favor, he's got GREAT hair.

That was interesting. I liked the part about the guy who voted for Obama nine times. I think that means he had the personal info of nine people, maybe people he knew or that he knew would not be voting, and voted for them. That must happen all the time in no-ID states. It's undetectable and completely risk-free. But it's open to whomever wants to do it, and hopefully the fraud cancels out between parties. There is still one vote per registered voter.

Maybe he lived in his district when he was a state and US senator?

(have not listened to the interview yet)
