Not a mention of Trump anywhere. The headline is about a woman in Wisconsin who has counted her 734 neighbors' votes for decades, and one piece about how it was fairly smooth.

That's print. They didn't call the race until after.
What do you see when you go to the home page, nytimes.com?

Consider the perspective of whomever crafted that headline. "Victory Changes Nation's Sense of Itself". They took their own perspective - that Trump's victory changed their perspective of their nation, and imposed it onto "the nation". "The Nation", as a whole, changed its sense of itself in exactly the same way as that editor changed their perspective. I wonder if this is even conscious, the way their minds work.

It's not in the online version I get.
So all this time you think the NYT is out of touch or too biased for one side, it's really just you mistaking some other pages for its front page?
Yes, this weird notion that the NYT has a bias against Trump, has been a big misunderstanding. Pretty embarrassing. I feel badly for all those journalists who were intending to support Trump all this time, but their messaging was misconstrued, due to simple human error.

So much for YOUR invitation to inauguration.
