Election things I don’t get

Kentucky has an amendment referendum to require citizenship to vote. It’s winning, but 65 percent to 35. How can you be against that?

Maybe it’s all the non-citizens voting.

Some states or localities allow resident aliens to vote down ballot. I get it. If you have a kid in the school you should be able to vote for school board.

I felt like we should have been able to vote on whether the town installed a decent sewer system. It got voted down by a bunch of people who’ve clearly never lived in a civilized manner and don’t understand water tables.
