Can tetanus or strychnine poisoning not manifest similarly?

I had never heard of this until it came out on my ‘carrier report’ from 23andMe.

I'm surprised that they let this progress to this extent.
If this were my patients I'd paralyze them, ventilate and sedate - let the ID guys figure out how to deal with the toxins.
