Brit Hume said the moderators were horrible. Three on one.

I didn’t watch all of it but thought candidates and moderators were better than last time

OK, did Vance bury the "weird" moniker?

Do they challenge him on the claim that police died because of January 6th?

He said 140 police officers were beaten.

            And many later died.

Not inaccurate. I’m sure many police officers have died since January 6.

No, gone was the divisive rhetoric. I sort of figured that one wouldn't play on a debate stage. Not least because Vance doesn't actually come off as weird.

                        At times, I was confused.

Was Walz running for VP of the United States or Minnesota?

                            LOL.

School shooters have distanced themselves from Tim Walz, clarifying that "we didn't even know him that well" and "our mom made us invite him to our birthday parties like one time."

God Bless him, Walz provided a heckuva sound bite. 😄

My take? Vance handled the abortion question brilliantly. That needs to become the pro-life platform for the time being.

Walz came across better on gun control, excepting his weird thing about befriending school shooters and the thing about his son witnessing a shooting. You know that’s going to be fact checked. It sounds like all of the other exaggerations Walz has made.

I liked how Vance turned the Jan 6 question around to a challenge about censorship and the 1st amendment.

Altogether, though? Both scared the shit out of me. Both are fully engaged in the idea of a large and expansive government that needs to have it’s fingerprints on everything, from the price of a load of bread, to people’s investments in their homes, to national daycare. They both seem to think government is the answer for everything.

I would like to ask Walz...If your medical system is so good, why are people suiciding with guns at such a high rate in Minnesota's rural areas?

My favorite part was when CBS cut the mic after Vance started to fact-check the self-appointed "fact-checkers" who said they'd do no fact-checking.

Given his attitude that socialism is just being neighborly, Walz can be relied on to love big government solutions at every turn. Vance clearly has principles against big government, even if he abandons them on a case by case basis. As does everybody who's not an anarchist.

I heard a story about Walz's wife during the BLM riots in her city. She opened the windows to take in the smell of burning cars, to revel in it.

                                          https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/tim-walz-s-wife-gwen-said-she-kept-windows-open-during-george-floyd-riots-to-smell-burning-tires/ar-AA1opdMB

Read between the lines and you can tell the BLM riots excited her. White woman smelling exciting justice riots from open window of governor's mansion. There's a parable there somewhere.
