Playoffs?! Don’t talk about playoffs!

Jagoffs are losing 28-13. They screwed around with the Terrible Towel on October 29th. They were the #1 Seed at that point and looked fantastic. They are now 23 minutes away from missing the playoffs and putting the Steelers in. The Curse of the Towel is real.

Just a reminder, the Jaguars are winless this season. They were expected to win the AFC South… The Curse is real.

Great. So what witch do we need to kill?
I still like your chances. Panthers, Ravens, Giants, and Browns are all winnable games for you guys. 4-3 is a whole lot more manageable than 0-3. But your coach has to start playing guys in the preseason, you can’t just knock the rust off in week 1…
-

So were the Commanders and the Patriots.
Commanders actually payed well. But you guys do this every year. You don’t play anybody in the preseason, then play poorly the first 3-4 games. You’ve usually been able to steal 1-2 of those games, this time you didn’t. But you can still turn it around. Just gotta go 10-4 the rest of the way. Panthers, Giants, Titans, Raiders, Browns, Browns, Broncos, Chargers, Raiders should all be wins. Win any of Eagles, Ravens x 2, Steelers x2, and you should make it.
Baltimore at 1-2 is in worst shape than you guys, IMO.

Gee, you guys need to look at this differently. For Chicagoans, what you reference as the "pre-season", we like to consider the playoffs. And BTW, Chicago won - 4 and 0! This "season" thing you reference is an interesting training program for the real playoffs which will commence late next summer. And BTW, if the Bears beat Green Bay, we consider that all that is required to be considered a winning season. We look at the world through a lens of necessity. BTW, the Chicago Winless Sox are on a record breaking season! Go

I forgot to mention that a significant portion of folks here are very excited to watch our former QB take the Steelers to a 17 and 0 season as this would solidify the view that the Bears have the worst coaching/management in the league.

Yeah, I was wondering if I should bring that up…

I just realized Cincinnati is going to be at Carolina. That field is going to be a mess..

That would be interesting indeed. However, the Steelers didn’t do so well with Trubisky, another Bears product.

Doug Flutie was another Bears reject who made good. Chicagoans expect Fields to surpass Tom Brady in Superbowl wins - probably 7 or 8 in a row.

I must have never opened this thread because it opened to the first post.
Not noticing the date, I thought ‘how TF does LD know the Steelers path to the playoffs already?’

Flutie was Drew Brees' mentor. Brees has always said Flutie was undervalued as a QB.

Just not in Chicago.

They're built to handle a lot of rain. However, i can't find a single article about the condition of the field. It's FieldTurf, so not grass.
