A louder voice in fighting abortion bans: Men in red states
More men are speaking out in defense of reproductive rights because of harrowing experiences that wives or partners have suffered when a pregnancy went awry. -
Make up your mind.
Is it my body, my choice or does the baby daddy have some skin in the game?
And BTW, call it what it is. Abortion. It's killing for convenience. Now, we're just arguing at what stage.
I think the most effective thing the pro-life movement can do, is advocate for abortion laws that:
- Cap abortions at 12 weeks.
- Fund pregnancy centers to combat abortion propaganda.
- Advocate for laws which require ultrasound before abortion. If it's difficult to pass such a law, try to establish free ultrasound testing close to any abortion provider. A funny thing happens to women when they understand what they are killing.

In this case, not just the baby daddies, but also the baby uncles and baby grandfathers advocating for the baby mommies to have choices. These men are not choosing for the baby mommies, but advocating for the baby mommies to have the right to choose.

Uh, no.
Takes two to make a baby. If not the product of rape or incest, chances are extremely high the woman became pregnant through consensual sex with a fertile male.
Therefore, half of the baby's DNA is from the father. Why does the sole discretion to kill that baby rest with the mother? Mother's complete rights ended with A) her decision to have sex, and B) her refusal to use birth control.
Once conception happens, both parents should have some say in what happens to that baby.

I’m sure there are plenty of pro life men in blue states, too. Why must you guys label everyone?

So Ax, what do you think of Jolly's suggestions for abortion laws? Personally, I think it's a fair compromise.

@Friday I’d also add more needs based assistance (read: welfare) for mothers at risk, revamping and improving the adoption and foster programs. If you’re going to be pro-life, it doesn’t help to have 3/4 of these kids live lives of dependence on alcohol, drugs, and more.
