Maybe not 100,000, but one-third of that number would be a great start. I see more advantages than disadvantages.

It would be nice to see just how many functions are unnecessary.

        From the article:

During former President Donald Trump ‘s administration, her office under the U.S. Department of Agriculture was told it would be moving. About 75 people were going to be relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, Dodson said, but less than 40 actually moved. A rushed process that failed to consider the need to find homes, jobs for spouses and schools for children prompted some retirements, she said, and some took other federal jobs, hurting the agency in the end.

Poor planning, poor execution, the Trump administration was just sad.

LOL At least 13 of them didn't die. Now tell me about all those charging stations we were promised.

Thank you for parroting the AFSCME rep. If Trump said the sky was blue, they'd argue that it was black at night.

Are you also against military families moving? They move a lot. Trump is only tasking a single move.

IMO, moving departments closer to the interests they are supposed to manage seems to make sense. Agriculture to the Midwest. Interior to Colorado or Texas. Energy to the South(Texas, Louisiana,Oklahoma), etc.

I think that it does make sense to "de-center" some of the departments. But, increase the timeline to do so. Put a 3-5 year plan in place. Involuntary move can be tough, especially for families.

Nah. In many cases, just give them 40 acres and the ass will move there.
