If is was some sort of "quid pro quo" sexual harassment, the power dynamic is definitely NOT with her. It is easy to look back and make assumptions like, "oh, if he came on to her, she should have just quit, should have reported him, etc." Not so easy sometimes. I assume he was the mayor at the time, and she was a city attorney?
Fortunately, never happened to me, but treatment of woman in the workplace in Asia is generally pretty bad, especially lower level. I "think" that in the US it is better. Watched a K drama a while back called "Something in the Rain". If you want to see a pretty accurate portraying of how woman are treated and the sh*t (pardon my language) that they have to put up with in Asia, watch that. LOL. I have history on my side. 555. I just find it hard to work up outrage that will supposedly occur if Candidate X is elected, WE ARE DOOMED. Pssst - We aren't.
The US has enough checks and balances. If President Trump is elected, democracy will not end in the US. If VP Harris is elected, the US will not fall into this hole and cease to exist as as country. The US is just not built to make sudden shifts, and it is becoming a smaller and smaller part of the overall world economy, but at the same time, becoming more integrated into the world economy.
