Based on various HR mandated training on sexual harassment that I have gone through, it would seem like Mayor Brown is the one who should be in trouble. (assuming of course, his help to her career was based on her either going out with him or sexual requirements.)
She is really not in the wrong in any way.

I could comment on the casual misogyny of many Trump supporters who are willing to forgive the old man his moral transgressions and write off his odious behaviors as ‘locker room nonsense’ but suddenly revert to biblical moralizing when a woman is involved.
But what would be the point? We can all see the hypocrisy and double standards at work here. Sure he’s a sad old relic of a bygone age, but he’s your relic, right?

If is was some sort of "quid pro quo" sexual harassment, the power dynamic is definitely NOT with her. It is easy to look back and make assumptions like, "oh, if he came on to her, she should have just quit, should have reported him, etc." Not so easy sometimes. I assume he was the mayor at the time, and she was a city attorney?
Fortunately, never happened to me, but treatment of woman in the workplace in Asia is generally pretty bad, especially lower level. I "think" that in the US it is better. Watched a K drama a while back called "Something in the Rain". If you want to see a pretty accurate portraying of how woman are treated and the sh*t (pardon my language) that they have to put up with in Asia, watch that. Anyways, if she slept with him or dated him or whatever (either voluntary or semi-voluntary) I really don't hold that as a black mark against her.
(Side tangent, but people (including me) sometimes wonder why a woman will return to a guy when she is in a domestic violence situation. Statistics show that usually a woman will return to a guy up to 5 times before finally leaving. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems)
