I flew back to the US on Saturday, and had to make the dreaded change at JFK. We had a 90 minute layover time which is a bit tight, but I thought we'd be ok.

We arrived to find the immigration hall absolutely freaking jammed with sweaty bodies. After about 40 minutes wait, we finally got to a kiosk. The very cute blonde girl in front of us was chatting away to the immigration official, and I heard her say 'I'm sorry, I'm so clueless about what to do next, it's ages since I travelled.' Then she giggled.

So, he gets out of his seat, closes his cubicle and escorts her off and away up the airport stairs to God-knows-where, never to be seen again.

    We missed our freaking connection.

    I was only joking

      Wow.

      Imagine, people travel for fun.

I mean I like being other places and trying their food and seeing their towns, but leaving home and waiting in world-class lines to get on planes with their tiny seats you'll stay in for world-class times, well, count me out for those who think travel is life's greatest pleasure.

      Education is extremely important.

she should be glad it wasn't north korea though. I guess she'll be ok, unless they thought she had some illicit materials.

But if you travel enough you get to skip the lines.

No, I'm pretty sure he was chatting her up, not interrogating her.

Took her to the examination room no doubt for a body cavity exploration search.
