Most people don't think it makes much difference...They're all crooks and what's in it for me.

We won't do it, but I think the concept of one man/one vote needs some tweaking. Maybe having to pass the citizenship test when a person turns 18, before they can vote.

I think it would help if there are no more continuing budget resolutions. A spending bill MUST originate in the House, be passed and go to the Senate, where it will be voted on. Differences can be hammered out in committee and the revised bill submitted for a vote.

If we can do that, maybe slip in some term limits, limit the days of in-session and do some ethics housekeeping, we can make a Congress that is closer to the people. A Congress closer to the people means the people pay more attention.

There are an awful lot of people paying attention on social media of all sorts. I don’t think being engaged is weird at all. I think it’s a necessity for a republic.

I meant we’re unusual. Not that we bang sheep.

I am OK with that as long as I am the one who decides what questions to ask and what the corrects answers are on the citizenship test.

              Nope. Standard USA Citizenship Test.

Thanks to TNCR, I think I’d have a good shot of passing a U.S. citizenship test.
I saw an Instagram reel last week, interviews on the street, in NYC, where 20 yr olds were seriously stumped what your U.S. capital city is.

As long as that kind of person who pompously informs you that it isn’t a Democracy it’s a Constitutional Federal Republic and then laugh through their copious amounts of nostril hair don’t get to set the questions
