      Wow, kind of surprised that he went on to live a normal and moderately successful life.

      Could you imagine being the guy’s father-in-law? Daughter brings home her new boyfriend and it’s William Calley?

        Imagine having to live with that on your conscience. I suspect many more incidents like it happened. we just don't know about them.

            Maybe not the number of deaths, but they did happen. Talked to one guy that said they'd made a sweep through a village and found no weapons. No VC they were told. Within mortar distance of the village, they got hammered.

            He said they went back into the village and killed everything living, including the animals.
