    School or career...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Back when college gatekeepers took themselves, and the educations they guard, seriously, and hadn’t yet had the moment of clarity that they are only slaves to popular culture.

      Education is extremely important.

I think they were both right. Them for kicking her out, her for leaving.

        Please love yourself.

What harm could have endured by the school just for granting her a leave of absence?

Hard to imagine Harvard to not welcome Bill Gates back had Gates’ attempt to launch Microsoft failed within a couple of years. Ditto Mark Zuckerberg/Facebook. Hard to imagine Standard to not welcome Brian Page and Sergei Brin back had Page and Brin’s attempt to launch Google fizzled within a couple of years. Not seeing a problem with a business school or an engineering school. Why should this be a problem for a film school?

She should have told them "It's okay. I'll go to USC."
