Reading an interesting discussion about the Mannings today. Archie, born and raised in Mississippi, played most of his professional career in New Orleans. He lived down in the garden district, even after he retired. All of his boys went to Newman. All excelled at football. Cooper's college career was cut short by a spinal problem and he moved back to New Orleans.

Peyton played in Indianapolis and Denver. After retiring from the game, he lives in Denver.

Eli played for New York. After retiring, he lived in Oxford for a bit, but now calls New Jersey home.

Nothing to all this, other than an observation that as an adult, when you live someplace for several years, you make new friends. You put down roots. And suddenly, your new home is your hometown.
