Sent to D2 - who has a doctorate in psychology.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

The fear of the woke mob is real.

            Different professors, different times.

Back in the dim mists of time, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I attended college in the latter 1970's. One of my professors flew P-40's in North Africa until some ground fire caught up with him. Another prof was a dogface in Korea. One taught theology, another zoology. Both had gone to school on the GI Bill. They were iron asses, but they could teach.

I'm not sure what political persuasion those guys were, but it sure wasn't "woke". And they didn't hand you grades. A "C" was considered good, a "B' did mean you were above average and an "A"...Not many students earned - and I do mean earned - an A grade.

                Sadly.

I was watching a video the other day about lessons learned in the Ukraine War concerning drones, artillery, electronic and armor. As wars are, it was about tactics and counter-tactics. Something the guy being interviewed about much of this stuff stressed, is just because some Russian stuff is antiquated or not quite up to Western standards, never assume you're dealing with people who aren't smart. Russia has more STEM graduates than the U.S., with less than half the people.

We're doing a lousy job educating people, if we want to stay up with the best of the world in STEM.

                  Sadly.

STEM is a code word that means men are bad.
