I am sure they will be on Rumble soon.

If you watch the short video, it's not because of the firearms (according to YT), it's because of sponsers. Hickok45 has had industry sponsors of one kind or another for years. Federal ammunition, SDI Gunsmith School, Bore-Kleen, etc.
First, YouTube took away their (firearm channels) monetization by not attaching ads. So, the creators have gone to doing self ads for their sponsors within the videos, plus Patreon or other systems such as Patreon for subscriber support.

With a fraction of the subscribers.
Probably.
But what happens if you have a mass migration? Hickok45 is probably the least opinionated, lowest key, firearms channel, so I suspect if he's getting the shaft, so are the rest.
That's firearms channels, hunting channels and the like. Also, YT has come down on WW1 and WW2 documentary guys, and historic pictures or footage with dead bodies has to be blurred for non-adult accounts or for viewers no signed into YT.
It comes down to eyeballs, I guess. If YT can run off enough content (even guys with innocuous content are having to struggle with multiple channels to try to maintain income), maybe a platform such as Rumble does benefit.

Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and YT aren't nearly what they used to be. The kids are still TikTok addicts but that'll wane, too.
We're primed for a shift. Rumble ain't exactly it as it's effectively a clone. But there will be some kind of fundamental upset, either with a new kind of platform or more mainstream rejection.
The advertising doesn't know this, though. It will continue to trail behind because of the appointment television effect.

That’s the theory and there was a time when I thought a lot of conservatives would follow trump to Truth Social. The fact that that didn’t happen shows the power of the network effect.

FB is a joke. I only stay on there for humor and keeping in touch with my charity folks. It's all ads, clickbait and most of the ads are scams. I think there are more scammers than there are real people.

That's why I was talking about FB vs. web sites the other day.
