    Is this a bad thing?

I mean, we know who's NOT running the country - we've known it for years.

Imagine all the meetings he has to not have in order to hold NATO together like only he can. Sometimes the music is in the silences, and Biden is a master conductor, from his 23.5 hours per day of nappy time.

      Education is extremely important.

Sounds like a feature. We're supposed to have an independent central bank. If he met with him this summer and the next day they lowered rates a half a point just in time for election season right wing media would howl.

Not sure how frequently they met. It would make sense to meet more frequently in the middle of finanicial crises. The end of W‘s 2nd term and Obama’s 1st term when they had to deal with the subprime crisis and subsequent recovery; the end of Trump‘s term and the start of Biden’s term when they had to deal with COVID-induced economic problems; these are good reasons for the Feds and the White House to touch base more frequently. No such urgency lately.

In a related note, CNN reports that there has been no cabinet meeting with POTUS for at least 6 months.

Am I the only one that finds that a bit ... odd?

the last full Cabinet meeting took place on October 2, 2023.

Honestly I don’t know. I don’t know how often ‘full’ cabinet meetings are generally held in the modern presidency nor do I know how much work the word ‘full’ is doing in this headline.

Yeah. It all seems to be so compartmentalized, with various agencies reporting to other agencies.

I wonder how much the "full cabinet meeting" is really a photo op rather than a working meeting where shit gets done.

I wonder if it was a perfect meeting, so perfect. And nobody knows more about cabinets than Joe Biden. After all, he hid in one for the election campaign and still managed to steal the election.

Actually, I think might be getting my geriatrics confused. Sorry.

                          I was only joking
