Convention of States being pushed in my back yard
-
MSN hyperbole.
The idea has been around for years. A Convention of States is definitely Constitutional.
Herein lies the problem...The debate is whether Amendments would be decided on before the Convention, during the Convention, or both. My opinion is both, and it could be anything from unfettered abortion to term limits to age limits for federal elected officials and judges to whatever.
Still, Amendments would have to garner a 2/3's vote to go to the states and then must receive 3/4's vote of the states to become enacted.
All the 2025 crap in the piece is fluff.
