What happens to the Lincoln Project "Republicans" , if Trump wins in November?

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

I hear New Zealand is nice.

The ones who will need to form a new party will be the democrats. After Biden gets his ass stomped in November and the party leaders realize they allowed their party to go too far Left, the ones that still have an ounce of brain matter will have to either take the party away from the Marxists or leave and form a new party.

Third parties are pretty much impossible in America. That's the way the Framers set it up, for some very good reasons. The Electoral College is another example of an idea the Framers very much wanted the new country to have.

For slaveholders, they were some pretty smart cookies. They never wanted a pure democracy, they wanted a republic. They never wanted the tyranny of the population centers, they wanted national campaigns to be national.

They never wanted the country ruled by the ignorant of those with no skin in the game. Their revenues were generated by fees and tariffs, which everybody paid. They were proponents of an educated populace and believed free speech would eventually win national arguments.

              That's so romantic.

              Only non-witches get due process.
