New US Defense Bill
-
The House approved its version of the annual defense policy bill Friday, which includes a number of controversial culture war amendments, setting the stage for a showdown with the Democratic-controlled Senate over legislation that typically enjoys bipartisan support.
The House edition of the legislation is all but certain to languish in the Senate where Democrats, who hold the majority, abhor many of the amendments Republicans added, including those pertaining to abortion, transgender rights and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
-
How much of the budget is marked for abortion, transgenderism, and DEI?
How many tanks would that buy.
Sometimes, you gotta remember Limbaugh: "The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things."

Yes but..... isnt there something like a ratio of 10 support troops to every "frontline" soldier?

I suppose that number's accurate - @jolly would know more than I.
That doesn't change my point, however.

@George-K Agree. I was just thinking that the majority(?) of the budget is for "non military things" like salaries, food, health care, etc etc.
(I guess in one way it all relates back to the military however)

An important part of why we have had the best Army for the last 100 years is that we have had the best logistics.
It's all "military".
