Today, we will celebrate Harvey Marcelin
Harvey is 86 years young, and is currently engaged in his 3rd Manslaughter/Murder trial for stabbing and dismembering his lesbian girlfriend, then hiding her body parts around NY.
This is kind of a thing for Harvey, as he also murdered, dismembered, and hid the body parts of his roommate in 1985. His first known killing in 1963 was much more straightforward. He just shot the woman that was going to testify against him in a rape/armed robbery case.
Yeah, Ol Harv had quite a history in addition to the murders. Armed Robbery crops up quite a few times, and rape as well. His first rape was against an 8 year old girl when Harv was 14, shortly after Harvey began cross dressing.
In the early 90’s, Harv became quite a celebrity cause when he started transitioning. It was all over the news when he was granted permission to start taking hormonal therapy. Over the years he became something of a symbol in the trans movement and a hero. It was through the multiple vouchers and hard work of several trans organizations that Harvey was paroled in 2019, about 3 years before he dismembered his lesbian lover.
