Paul Manafort chaired Trump’s campaign and he registered as a foreign agent.
Michael Flynn was Trump’s adviser and he too registered as a foreign agent.
Being convicted of federal crimes are more awkward than registering as foreign agent, don’t you think? -

Lincoln Project co founder John Weaver registered as a Russian foreign agent last year. Uranium is his thing along, fees with his 313k federal tax lean.
Another founder has a 389k tax lien, Rick Wilson.

Anybody follow the recent congressional primaries in Colorado? The one where the gal unseated the incumbent, when the polls showed her trailing by 30 points?
She won by 10.
Don't think I would consider polling rock solid this year.

a primary in a single district isn't going to be very well polled. I doubt its possible to see a 40pt gap or even a 10pt gap between polled numbers and reality on a national scale.
But I agree with your main point that we should be wary of polls.
