This is an interesting truck. A base XL model, with 4WD and a 5.0 Coyote V8. The 5.0 is the best light truck motor Ford makes. Not best in terms of acceleration or fuel economy, but in terms of longevity.

Pickup prices are now insane. At $48k, believe or not, this isn't horrible. Would be even better if Ford jerked about half the electronic crap off of the truck and got the price down to $40k. Don't understand why manufacturers have gotten so greedy.

The kicker, though, comes at almost the end of the video. This guy orders the vehicles for his dealership. Ford is restrictinb him from ordering trucks with some motors, the 5.0 being the one Ford is denying.

Gotta meet those government fleet mpg standards. Somebody, please save us from the government...

I think their idea of freedom would be you can have any engine you want, but for a 5.0 you can only drive 5 miles a day.
