This image came up during a youtube video. I assume it's a stock photo.

Who knew that looking through a microscope could be dangerous?

Does seem odd, since she has full control of both her head and the instrument.

        1. Student in a student lab. Wearing the full accessories of safety gear. Unless I've got an OSHA inspector sitting on my shoulder, I wouldn't have on all that stuff. I don't even wear my regular glasses when doing scope work (had a nice AML today).
        2. Ain't that a Mickey Mouse POS scope. I didn't have one that bad in college, let alone at work.

These guys make a nice working scope, better than Nikon and a lot cheaper than Zeiss (IMNSHO)

@Mik yeah, but what danger can come from an eyepiece of a microscope?

If one looks into the abyss with a microscope, the abyss looks back into you. Unless you're wearing protective eyewear.

A real doctor wears a stethoscope with the glasses.

By the way, I know someone who's a real doctor who NEVER wore his stethoscope around his neck.
