      Republicans view the supplement as a disincentive to return to work. Democrats think cutting off aid would cause financial hardship for millions.

      Obviously both are true. Find a new number that reduces both effects.

      The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

        Agree. New number or way of reducing the subsidy if employment offer is declined. That might be impossible to manage.
