On the deck at Chez Mik:

Local strawberries are in, and they are spectacular.

Graeter's Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream for dessert.

It's Monday. You have red beans and rice on Mondays.

Going to prepare an egg casserole for tomorrow morning. Will try cream cheese, but I'm not entirely sure how to get it into a mixable consistency. I guess I will warm it up with milk, then mix it into the eggs.

I had pan-roasted salmon with tomato vinaigrette, a recipe that Musicasacra posted ages ago on WTF. On the side were sautéed haricots vertes with lemon and almond slivers.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.
