When you consider the current predilection among the younger folk (God I sound old) for going back to vinyl, traditional cameras etc. it seems particularly dumb.

I think what happened is simply that a soulless ad team recognized that hydraulic press crushing videos were popular on youtube, and made the leap to this ad being a good idea.
