I'm not saying this is a bad thing, however I'm left with the distinct impression that this is being focused on in the hope of distracting the British electorate from much more serious and difficult to solve problems with British healthcare before the upcoming election.

We have two good friends who are doctors in the UK, and this really isn't what they're worried about.
