      Well...

Prophylactic or therapeutic administration of neomycin provided significant protection against upper respiratory infection and lethal disease in a mouse model of COVID-19.

I've seen Mupirocin used for years as a preventative, by applying it to the first quarter inch or so of the nasal passages.

And speaking of COVID ... I knew people who would gargle with an alcohol based mouthwash and use a swab with dilute H2O2 in the first inch or so of the nasal passages after arriving home from being out around other people. Wonder if there has been a study on that?

I wonder too @Jolly. Me too with the peroxide, but orally. I had to undergo a number of dental procedures during Covid and was prescribed peroxide washes post. I’ve continued these post Covid with my dental stuff, checks, cleanings, surgeries. The funny thing was prior to having dental problems, like with routine checks and cleanings, I used to always get a cold afterwards. Now I know peroxide acts with gram positive bacteria, and my colds were likely viral, but I haven’t had any colds or sniffles or anything post dental stuff since doing these dilute peroxide rinses.

I meant to say chlorohexidine, not peroxide.

I drank whiskey after being out around other people. Had nothing to do with COVID.
