Oh, Jolly's usual clever title was misleading. This is the conversation from Bret Weinstein's "Darkhorse" podcast, and was excellent. Very much worth watching, as they are both so far above the trash marching to take down everything.

    Here's a good quote:
"I don’t mean like a religion, [it] is a religion. The way that you understand how these people operate is to actually imagine how you would interact with a Mormon who you were trying to convince that Joseph Smith didn’t dig up tablets in the back yard."

It is literally impossible for a woke person to make as much sense as mcwhorter and Weinstein. Wokeness is too intellectually crippled to allow for that much sense. It is not an exaggeration to say that there does not exist a single person on the progressive left capable of that level of coherence.

      Education is extremely important.

McWhorter is on about every third or fourth Glenn Loury podcast and I never miss those.

He announced there that he’ll be writing a book on this subject. Can’t wait to read it.

I think it was Andrew Sullivan that coined ‘The Great Awokening’ but I might be wrong.

I remember years ago reading about "The Great Awakening" during the 1800's. Don't remember hardly anything other than it was a big movement.

There is no time to wait for someone to write a book, and have a book that is not a gossip get-rich former government have an effect.

As Bret points out, on all sides, there is NO leadership, and what is going on in terms of leadership is to lay a trap for Trump.

It's all about November, except for the fools in the streets that are pawns.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

If you can hear the dog-whistle, perhaps you're the dog.
