    The story goes on ...

“This isn’t about censorship. It’s about common sense and common decency. And Elon Musk should show some,” Albanese told Seven Network.

The regulator’s lawyer, Christopher Tran, had argued Monday in court that geoblocking Australia did not meet the definition of removal of the footage under Australian law.

Tran said the footage was a “graphic and violent video” that would cause “irreparable harm if it’s continuing to circulate.”

    It's EXACTLY about censorship.

Now, here's a wild-ass guess. Is it just possible, just, that the fact that the attacker yelled "Allahu Akbar" might have something to do with the effort to suppress?

    Nah...

        Truth.

Far as I’m concerned, it’s up to Australians and their government. The matter is none of my concern.

Not quite. The Aussies want it taken down world-wide.

Makes no difference it’s still none of my concern. That there was a 15 year old male Islamic terrorist who attempted to kill an old Assyrian Orthodox priest while the latter was saying mass is sufficient. I am not going to loath jihadist terrorists or any brand of fanatical religious terrorist, any more than I already do if I watch the full act on X or any other medium. In any case, in a few years it will become archived documentary material and will be broadcast in full on History Channel or PBS. A few might cringe and shake their heads but otherwise, it will go unnnoticed.

So as it stands right now and into the foreseeable future, it is none of my concern that Australia wants it taken down globally.

Someone commented that the Australian government is NOT demanding that YouTube take the video down.

                      I wonder why.
