There was an article I read ( will see if I can re-find it), and the top paid harbor pilot in Los Angeles USA(?) I think was paid something like USD$450K/year. He said that the hardest and most dangerous part of the job was getting on and off ships!

Looks like a blower (watched at 0.25 speed) to herd the stray bees to a location where they can sense the rest of the "pack."
