I think you chaps might be missing the point of swimsuit competitions. In Britain at least, they're not intended to be used as a springboard for political activism and to court race-based controversy, but more for a bit of light relief. Think of it as being like those pictures of Hillary wearing orange, except for young people.

I think you may be missing a bigger point - There is no such thing as free speech in Great Britain, not today.

Bro, our country basically invented doxxing and cancel culture. We're in no position to judge.

No, but we do put people in jail for vagrancy, which is what you're often found guilty of after you've lost everything.

Was she put in jail? I missed that bit.

I thought she was living in Texas.

I know, I know, it's much the same thing.

And if you honestly start quoting Daily Mail articles as being examples of liberal media bias, you definitely need to go sit in the corner and have a good, long think about things. It was The Mail, that epitome of responsible journalism and acme of integrity that posted all her family details.

Yes, but that's not what happened to this woman. I know plenty of British people who stay stuff like she said. There have been hate speech laws since 1986. I don't agree with them, but pretending she broke them with what she said is very misleading. She wasn't prosecuted, she had a beauty title taken off her because she was a liability. The job of beauty queens isn't to sound off on Twitter, it's to smile and make nice with fat old men and open supermarkets and stuff.

I could lose my job in the US if I said stupid shit online.

I think you may be missing a bigger point - There is no such thing as free speech in Great Britain, not today.

Bro, our country basically invented doxxing and cancel culture. We're in no position to judge.

Yep, but we don't put you in jail for it.

No, but we do put people in jail for vagrancy, which is what you're often found guilty of after you've lost everything.

The British incarceration rate is 146 per 100,000. The US is 655.

I don't think you've got the room to put anybody else in prison.

Do we all want to move to Britain now?

In Britain at least, they're not intended to be used as a springboard for political activism and to court race-based controversy, but more for a bit of light relief. Think of it as being like those pictures of Hillary wearing orange, except for young people.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I should warn you, there's a history test. One of the questions is whether George Washington was a total cunt.

                              I was only joking

I post under your name. If you claim you're from New York round here you can say fucking anything, however stupid, and people make allowances like you wouldn't believe.
