          In the twitter feed where I saw this, someone commented that this is either a junior or senior-level class, so you might have read some of the works beforehand.

          Someone else commented that the required reading is about 6000 pages.

              I loved the classes that challenged me to think, not just ingest and regurgitate. Mostly writing and poli sci.

                Just about the wildest ride I ever took was with Auden's Age of Anxiety. It's Ulysses but in verse. And it constantly changes to match the message. He doesn't get nearly enough credit for it.

                In writing it, he wrote a lot of letters to Tolkien to understand alliterative verse better. Those letters are so enlightening about how English works.
