      That would probably be pretty good to put up on some vacation property. Running electric and plumbing would add on quite a bit, though.

        $43K? Too much, I think, for what you're getting.

        Over the past decade, I've seen several people around here build a small metal home. Usually it's a empty nest couple, that's still capable of doing a good bit of work themselves and are their own contractor.

        Building will be steel framed on slab, with metal roof and sides. They'll get a metal building guy to pour the slab and get the building in the dry, then they take over. Most of these buildings are 2/2 and are probably 1000sqft. Sometimes they have a carport or detached garage.
