    I’m in New Braunfels, coming home today. Went to Krause’s,n authentic German bier hall. Great food, biggest tap ever. But I was introduced to something new, to me anyway. Radler - a shandy of half lager and half sparkling lemonade. Delicious and refreshing!

        Oh wow, I've been enjoying Radler (or Spezi, as it is called in the North) for the last 30 years. In fact, I had one just yesterday (sans alcohol though)

            Never cared for any beer or ales with citrus. Tried Stiegl-Radler once. Don’t think I even got past two or three sips before pouring it out into a house plant pot.
