Remember the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington? The one that wouldn't serve Sarah Sanders?

Heard they went out of business, but there is pretty much nothing in the news about the closing.

    Did it close?

Do small restaurants closing down generally make the news?

In this case, a little Googling would reveal that they are apparently re-branding the restaurant.

      I was only joking

It's been in business for close to two decades. It's not like this is an unsteady business.

Or, it used not to be.

Maybe it was COVID. Maybe it was alienating half of your potential customers. Maybe their food quality dropped off. Maybe a combination of all three.

But I went through a couple of news search pages and got pretty much nothing. Which is why I said something

I honestly couldn't care less about a restaurant owner's politics, assuming they're not paid up members of the American Nazi Party or something, which is probably unlikely. I once went somewhere nice in Boston, and my friend pointed out Billy Bulger (Whitey's brother) sitting at the best table in the house, holding court for all his buddies. I don't know for sure, but I suspect he's an even worse individual than Sarah Huckleberry. The food was nice, which is the main thing.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
