The idea that everybody staying home for two weeks is going to fix everything is rather quaint.

    I was only joking

If for six weeks, everyone who left their apartments or properties wore a mask while they were out, not only could all businesses open but the number of cases would become nominal.

      Please love yourself.

For a lot of people, there's a big difference between 2 weeks and 6 weeks, but fair point. I'm not even sure everybody needs to wear a mask at all times if they take social distancing responsibly.

They only don’t have the authority because he took it away with his order.

It’s asinine to not invoke subsidiarity here. Dense cities and rural towns don’t need the same rules. Put the locals in charge.

@Jolly when you post stuff like that, it makes me wonder how long we all have until we see an investigative reporter scroll through this place on CNN. Y'know, with the screen all flickery because the monitor refresh rate and the camera are out of sync, and a voiceover of some guy explaining how terrible it is that this has been going on all this time.

I give it 3 to 5 years if we're lucky.

            Please love yourself.

Fear of the cancellation mob is legitimate. Being considered Evil is a powerful dehumanizer, and the left knows that very well. Unfortunately it is also a very easy idea to sell. There is no price for considering the other tribe evil, as long as your tribe is in charge.

              Education is extremely important.

Where can I place a bet there will be no football in Georgia?

That’s worse than no churches open in that state.

Subsidiarity. Well below the state level in this case.

Plenty of red state governors get it. Look at Tennessee.

                      Only non-witches get due process.

Fulton and Cobb County in Georgia shut down school for the fall. No masks have consequences.

                          Sure more to follow.

The idea that everybody staying home for two weeks is going to fix everything is rather quaint.

If for six weeks, everyone who left their apartments or properties wore a mask while they were out, not only could all businesses open but the number of cases would become nominal.

                                          Exactly!!!

Head of US CDC says if everyone wore mask for 4-6 weeks, COVID would be under control
