Our most-arrested migrant this week is Pedro Molina, also known as Jose Oleno Lopez and Jose Antonio Sanchez-Oleno. He got arrested in the Loop on Tuesday, his third arrest in Chicago under his third name since Thanksgiving.

A security guard at Target, 1 South State, said Molina, 22, hit him in the back of the head with a plastic water bottle after being escorted from the store.

Molina, who lives at the Standard Club shelter at 320 South Plymouth, was also arrested on February 13 under the name Jose Oleno Lopez. In that case, cops said they saw him smoking a crack pipe on Lower Wacker Drive near Wabash.

When asked what he was doing, he allegedly replied, “Yo estaba fumando piedra.” That, according to his arrest report, means “I was smoking a rock.”

He was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

On November 28, he was arrested under the name Jose Antonio Sanchez-Oleno at the Target store in Uptown. Security agents claimed he stuffed $279 worth of merchandise into a backpack. The case was later dropped.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
