Yeah, they're remaking it.

I think the role of Frank Drebbin will be played by Liam Neeson.

If Neeson can pull this off, he deserves an Oscar.

Comedy, especially for people who aren't naturally funny, is hard to do. OTOH, Lucille Ball made a pretty good living at it...

I think it’s a fantastic choice. What made Nielsen ideal for the role was his ability to stay stone-faced and play it straight throughout all of the absurdity.
